Overview

Augurs are readers of fate, time, and probability. Their three areas of practice are Divination (predicting futures through structured reading), Fortune (manipulating probability), and Precognition (perceiving clues about the future through trained focus). Augurs are rarely the most dramatic practitioners — they're frequently the most useful. Other Sorcerers come to them when they need to know if a plan will actually work.

●●○○○ Level 2 (No Gnosis) — Probability Sight: perceive which outcome of a current situation is most and least likely, and roughly why. Roll Intelligence + Occult (diff 6).

●●●○○ Level 3 (1 Gnosis) — Fortune Working: apply a minor blessing (-1 difficulty) or curse (+1 difficulty) to a target's next significant roll. Roll Wits + Occult (diff 7) vs. Willpower for curses.

●●●●○ Level 4 (2 Gnosis) — Extended Reading: perceive likely outcomes over the next month. Roll Intelligence + Occult (diff 8); 4 successes yields detailed multi-branch information. One hour of reading.

●●●●● Level 5 (3 Gnosis) — Fate Working: a significant curse or blessing on a target's overall luck for a month. Roll Wits + Occult (diff 9) vs. Willpower; supernaturals resist at +2 difficulty.
