Overview

Fury Shapers are wielders of destructive dark energy. Their three areas of practice are Hellfire (summoning fire, lightning, and destructive elemental force), Shadow Casting (manipulating shadow and darkness as a material force), and Fascination (bending wills through intense, sometimes overwhelming influence). Of all the Schools, Fury Shapers are the most feared and the most carefully watched by the God Machine Guild — their abilities are the most obvious, the most dramatic, and the hardest to present as anything other than exactly what they are.

School Abilities

●○○○○ Level 1 (No Gnosis) — Spark: create or extinguish fire within touch range, or generate a small static discharge. No damage. Roll Wits + Occult (diff 5).

●●○○○ Level 2 (No Gnosis) — Shadow Veil: extend and shape shadows into concealing darkness in a lit room. Doesn't affect magical light. Roll Wits + Occult (diff 6).

●●●○○ Level 3 (1 Gnosis) — Hellfire Burst: a directed burst of fire (3 dice Lethal) or lightning (2 dice Aggravated, less controllable). Roll Wits + Occult (diff 7). A botch ignites the surroundings.

●●●●○ Level 4 (2 Gnosis) — Shadow Weapon: shape shadow into a solid Lethal weapon ignoring mundane armor, existing only while concentration holds. Roll Wits + Occult (diff 8).

●●●●● Level 5 (3 Gnosis) — Hellstorm: a catastrophic elemental release across a 30-foot radius — 5 dice Aggravated to everyone caught in it, fire spreads, uncontrollable once released. Roll Wits + Occult (diff 9). Once per session.
