Who They Are
Elementals are the most plentiful of all the Lost — living golems, the flame forever dancing in the pyre, the child who longed to be real. Whatever the reason, the human who became an Elemental was chosen for a single characteristic, and that one part of them became their entire identity to the Keeper. Once in the Dreaming, that element became everything. Their greatest fear is not pain or death — it is irrelevance. It is losing the one thing that made them worth taking.
