Who They Are

Gangrel have always been of the wilds, and the end of the world only confirmed what they already knew — the systems of the old world were temporary. Gangrel are survivors. They endure. They may be the most numerous surviving bloodline simply because so many were never counted in the first place. In the new world they are the only Lilim who truly need nothing from civilization to persist. That independence is both their greatest strength and their deepest isolation.

Animalism ● Feral Whispers — communicate with and command animals; complexity scales with the animal's intelligence. Charisma + Animal Ken (diff 6) for complex commands; simple ones free for non-hostile animals.
Fortitude ● Endurance — soak Lethal damage (normally unavailable without Fortitude); adds to Aggravated soak too. Extreme environmental conditions affect the Gangrel at half rate.
Protean ● Eyes of the Beast — eyes shift to glowing yellow/red/amber at no cost, granting perfect night vision. Unmistakably inhuman; Veil management required around humans.

Promise & Bane

Promise: Survivalist Bane: Animal Features
Free Survivalist merit — permanent +2 to all Survival rolls (navigation, shelter, enduring conditions, finding food/blood in the wild, reading dangerous terrain). Each frenzy may grant a permanent animal feature (glowing eyes don't count). Every 3 features, max Social Attribute rating drops by 1 — cannot be raised by any means.
Track Animal Features on the character sheet. At 0–2, easily mistaken for a Sundering survivor. At 3–5, concealment in public requires effort. At 6+, moving through the Overcity requires extraordinary measures.
