Who They Are
Today's Ventrue have not forgotten what their arrogance cost. Like a phoenix from the ashes, they rise with respect for the past and clear eyes toward the future. They favor movers and shakers who make the Basilicas stronger — not the iron-fisted rulers of the old world, but the best in whatever path they have chosen. If others must be commanded to achieve that perfection, the Ventrue will use every tool available to them.

Players may reassign priority order to suit their specific character concept. The default above reflects the most common Ventrue archetype.
Bloodline Disciplines
All Ventrue begin with one dot in each of their three Bloodline Disciplines, treated as in-clan for all experience costs.

| Dominate ● | Mesmerism — issue simple one-word commands (Stop, Run, Sleep, Drop) to a target met with eye contact. Resisted by Willpower (diff 7). Does not work on Lilim of equal or lower generation. |
| Fortitude ● | Endurance — add this dot to soak rolls against Lethal damage (normally Lilim cannot soak Lethal without Fortitude); also adds to soak against Aggravated. |
| Presence ● | Awe — radiates unconscious authority. +1 die on first-impression rolls with mortals, who find it difficult to dismiss or ignore the Ventrue without conscious effort. |

| Permanent +2 to Willpower rolls resisting mental influence, mind control, Dominate from other Lilim, and Dementation. Stacks with Iron Will if purchased. | Can only feed safely on Mundane Humans. Feeding on any supernatural or Half-Damned always costs 1 Blood Point from the Pool — one less gained than the blood actually contained. Cannot be circumvented. |
