Who They Are

The Glass Walkers were always the tribe that understood the city — in the old world, sometimes seen as a failing, too comfortable with the Weaver's systems. Then the world ended and the city became the only safe place to be, and their expertise became a lifeline. They navigate Basilica Purgatory like no other tribe, understanding its infrastructure, its power systems, the God Machine Guild's blind spots, and the Omega Crate technology that keeps it running. They are pragmatists who serve Eshtarra's mandate through the city rather than the wilderness — because the city is now the wilderness most of humanity will ever know.

Viewpoints

On... ...they say
Black Furies Their justice is necessary. We help them find what they're looking for faster.
Children of Eshtarra They heal people. We fix systems. Both matter.
Fianna They keep the old stories. We keep the new data. Both are history.
Get of Fenris Their strength is genuine. They are learning to direct it well.
Silent Striders They move between cities and bring information we could not get ourselves. Essential partners.
Kindred They've navigated city politics for centuries. We have a lot to learn from each other.
God Machine Guild We watch them carefully. We know more about what they maintain than they think.
Humanity They built this city. We help where we can.

Glass Walker Tribe Gift Path

●○○○○ Control Simple Machine (1 Gnosis, diff 5) — ask the spirit of a mechanical device (lock, valve, lever) to perform or cease its function. Mechanical only; electronics need higher levels.

●●○○○ Diagnostics (Passive) — identify faults, tampering, and modifications in any examined technology, including Omega Crate tech and cybernetics. Perception + Technology (diff 5) for complex systems.

●●●○○ Dashing Entrance (1 Rage, diff 6) — commands the city to part for them: doors open, elevators arrive, traffic clears, surveillance glitches for the scene.

●●●●○ Attunement (2 Gnosis, diff 7) — attunes to a building or block's spirit for a full sensory map: every room, person, active device, and spiritual presence. Requires a built environment.

●●●●● Cyber Communion (3 Gnosis, diff 8) — interfaces directly with God Machine Guild infrastructure without terminals or credentials — reads status, identifies Aether Reactor anomalies, adjusts minor non-critical systems.

Eshtarra's Gift & Tribal Cost

Eshtarra's Gift: Urban Instinct Tribal Cost: Wilderness Disconnect
Permanent +2 dice to Technology and to urban Stealth rolls, plus a free Specialty in Technology (City Systems). -2 penalty to Survival rolls and Gifts requiring deep natural connection outside urban environments — the spirit networks they rely on don't exist there.
